Seaweed
The Resiliency Juice – Organic Seaweed Lawn Treatment (1 litre)
The Yard Bros Philosophy: We don't believe in seasonal shortcuts. Yard Bros Seaweed is about building a lawn that handles real life. Dogs, droughts and backyard football, without breaking a sweat. The daily vitamin for your yard, year-round.
Seaweed has been used to feed gardens for centuries. Most modern liquid seaweeds aren't worth the bottle they come in.
Why? Because the manufacturing process matters. Cheap seaweed extracts are made by heat-treating raw kelp. Fast, easy, and devastating to the natural plant hormones, enzymes and amino acids that make seaweed actually work.
Yard Bros Seaweed is different. We use a cold-press process that keeps the biology intact. The hormones survive. The enzymes survive. The result is a feed that genuinely strengthens your lawn at the cellular level instead of just adding background nitrogen.
What's Inside
Premium, cold-processed Ascophyllum nodosum extract. Sustainably harvested from cold North Atlantic waters and pressed without heat to preserve:
Unlike heat-treated alternatives, our cold-press method keeps the natural hormones and nutrients intact to strengthen your grass at a cellular level – making it one of the most effective organic lawn treatments available for UK conditions.
- 60+ vitamins, minerals and trace elements
- Natural plant hormones (cytokinins, auxins, gibberellins)
- Amino acids and alginates
- Mannitol and growth-promoting compounds
Heat-treated alternatives lose most of this in production. Cold pressing keeps it where it belongs. In your bottle, on your lawn.
Why It Works
- Year-Round Strength: builds deep resilience against heat, frost and traffic for the unpredictable UK climate.
- Organic and Safe: 100% natural and impossible to over-apply (burn-free)
- Root Development: dramatically increases root mass for thicker, denser turf
- Bio-Stimulant: enhances the effectiveness of other fertilisers and UK lawn feeds.
- Cellular Resilience: hormones strengthen cell walls against drought and disease
- Pet, Kid and Wildlife Safe: apply and walk on once dry
How to Use
Dose: 50ml of Seaweed per 5L of water

What to Expect
Week 1: subtle deepening of green colour, especially on stressed grass

Month 2 onwards: root mass measurably greater on regular use, lawn holds colour longer in dry spells
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between cold-pressed and heat-treated seaweed?
Heat-treated seaweed is faster and cheaper to manufacture, but the heat destroys most of the natural plant hormones, enzymes and amino acids that give seaweed its real value. Cold-pressing keeps these intact. The bottle ends up genuinely nutrient-dense rather than thin and propped up with synthetic additions.
Can I use it on a brand-new lawn?
Yes, at half strength for the first month. Seaweed encourages strong root development. Exactly what new turf and seeded lawns need.
Will it burn my grass?
No. Unlike high-nitrogen synthetic feeds, properly diluted liquid seaweed is non-burning and safe to apply across the whole growing season.
How long until I see results?
Most users see colour and vigour improvements within 7 to 14 days. The deeper soil and root benefits build over a full season of regular use.
Is it suitable for organic gardening?
Yes. Yard Bros Seaweed contains no synthetic additives. It's fully suitable for organic principles.
Does it work in cold weather?
Apply during active growth, which in the UK runs roughly March to October. Cooler shoulder seasons are ideal for supporting root development. Skip applications on frozen ground or fully dormant winter lawns.
