What's the difference between Hydrate and a synthetic wetting agent?
Synthetic wetting agents use lab-made surfactants. Many leave residues, contain microplastics, or harm soil biology. Hydrate uses concentrated yucca saponins, the natural surfactants plants have used for millions of years. Same effect, no environmental cost.

Will it harm my pets or wildlife?
No. Yucca extract is a food-grade ingredient, used as a foaming agent in some plant-based foods and animal feeds. Safe to walk on once the spray has dried, typically within 1 to 2 hours.

Can I use Hydrate every week?
You can but you don't need to. Once a month through the growing season is plenty for most UK lawns. Increase to fortnightly only during heatwaves or hosepipe bans when every drop counts.

Will Hydrate fix bare or dead patches?
Hydrate fixes the watering problem, not the seed-level problem. If patches are bare because the soil is hydrophobic, Hydrate plus regular watering will allow grass to recover. If patches are bare from heavy use or disease, you'll need to overseed alongside.
